French Press

Tools&Ingredients: Burr grinder, wooden spoon, scale, timer, french press, whole bean coffee, boiled filter water

1) Weigh out Coffee// Coffee:water = 1:17

2) Grind Coarsly

3) Start timer, and pour filtered water of 210 F temperature enough to wet grounds and let them bloom

4) After 20 seconds, break crust with wooden spoon and pour rest of the water

5) Place top over grounds while coffee brews for 4 minutes

6) Gently push press all the way down, pour and enjoy

Chemex

Tools&Ingredients: Burr grinder, goose neck kettle, scale, timer, Chemex & Chemex filter, whole bean coffee, boiled filter water

1) Weigh out Coffee// Coffee:water = 1:17

2) Grind medium fine, placing grinds in filter resting in Chemex

3) Start timer, and pour filtered water of 210 F temperature enough to wet grounds and let them bloom

4) After 20 seconds, begin 1st pour in a gentle even circular motion in the center of the grounds of about 1/3 total water

5) When water level declines halfway begin same circular pouring method totaling 2/3 total water

6) Repeat step 5 to achieve total water

7) After 4 minutes all water should
